I don’t do many action alerts, but this one is imperative. We need sexual orientation added to the Federal hate crimes laws, but fundamentalists who don’t believe in equality – like our forefathers SAID – are hitting our Senators and saying to not support the act. They can look at the haunting images of Matthew Shepard, and the fence that he was left to die on just because of who he was, and say no, we don’t need laws or protections.
