MI-07: Elissa Slotkin is running for reelection in 2022 in this newly modified district. The district is now R+2 which makes it lean slightly Republican. In 2020 prior to redistricting, a Republican won the seat 58.8% to 41.2% while Slotkin won MI-08 50.9% to 47.3% (D+3.6). More on the race here. Slotkin will definitely need some help to get to know new district voters. Investment opinion: A+
MI-08: Dan Kildee is running for reelection in 2022 in this newly modified district. The district is now R+1 which makes it lean slightly Republican. In 2020 prior to redistricting, Kildee won MI-05 54.5% to 41.8% (D+12.7), whereas the difference in the Presidential race was only D+4.3. More on the race here.
