Interested in having a drink in a bar? Don’t do it in Texas! Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission agents and police swept through 36 bars, arresting 30 people on charges of public intoxication. Why? A proactive measure to curtail drunken driving. Even patrons at a bar in a hotel, where the drinkers were staying in the hotel were arrested. Why? Because they were “a danger to themselves”.
This is total bullshit. But being Texas, it doesn’t surprise me.
