Go and take a look at this picture and the little blurb that goes along with it. Go ahead, I’ll wait.
Okay, notice anything? Yeah, that’s right. When a bullet is shot from a gun, the the small part that it the actual bullet (the top 1/4 of the item she is holding) removes itself from the casing (the bottom 3/4 of the item she is holding). The casing is there to hold the bullet and to put oomph, in the form of gun powder, behind the bullet so it can leave the chamber to it’s target.
So how is it that this gets reported by AFP (Agence Franc-Presse) and passed on to the rest of the world, where it is reported happily without question? How sad is the state of the media that something THIS blatant could happen and not even be questioned?
How very sad indeed.
