I was perusing an article on the Alaskan Legislature being told to come back after they were supposed to adjourn, and the following sentence drew my attention:
The stakes are high: The governor has threatened to veto hundreds of millions of dollars in construction projects unless the Legislature passes the Senate versions of both the workers’ compensation bill and the public employee retirement overhaul.
Wow — threatening true valued projects because he can’t get his “personal accounts” a la Social Security reform. Scumbag.
