There’s reports out about the possible derailment of Howard Dean’s frontrunner status to head up the DNC. Reports are coming out that Donnie Fowler may be being positioned to take the lead in the race. The most disturbing line of the whole story is, “But some Democrats have been looking for a way to stop Dean…”
This is pretty unfortunate. The Democrats in charge — the same ones who have abandoned the grass roots and focused on just Presidential in the last two races, and lost, are unwilling to give up the status quo. They only want to go with the familiar. That’s too bad. If the Democrats are unwilling to change, there will be a mass migration of those of us considered to be Progressives to a third party.
