First off, there is the full standdown by the US Air Force this Friday. Remember how they “accidentally” flew from North Dakota to Louisiana with six LIVE nuclear warheads? Well, as penance, the entire US Air Force is going to be standing down this Friday, so the US will basically be without air power.
Second, remember the huge put options on American Airlines and United Airlines that went unclaimed after the terrorist attacks of 9/11/01? Well, it looks like someone is doing it again, with a massive put option against the European stock exchange, betting that it will be down at least 33% before September 21st.
