I’m overseas at the moment (in a Muslim country – and though it’s nice, I have the shroud of government censorship all around me) and happenned to catch this news story about how AT&T was complacent and complied with the government on spying on it’s own citizens. Now they want the documents proving so back.
What scares me is, AT&T (formerly SBC) is going to merge with Bell South. That’s going to make one of the largest companies serving the vast majority of Americans in the telecommunications realm. How can we trust them?
