Go and read what Greg Palast wrote about earlier in March. He makes the point, that most people have missed or just underreported, that Timothy Griffin, the hand-picked successor for the fired Arkansas US Attourney General, had a hand in getting rid of those pesky voting rights for 70,000 mostly minority voters.

This whole thing sounds nasty, and I’m willing to bet there will be quite a few heads that will roll as a result. Of course Bush, Mr. Teflon, will come off scott free. I’ve never seen so many people throw themselves on swords for such an incompetent leader, but the people he’s surrounded himself with will definitely do it.

Is it 2009 yet?
