This is it, my Proud Liberal siblings! We don’t need to re-hash Rev. Haggart, Jack Abramhoff, Limbaugh attacking Parkies, Bush being dangerously insane, Halliburton and their corporate tentacles stealing billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars, or any of the thousands of GOP-Clonebot-Apocalyptophiliacs’ lies and distortions– at least, not until the next post. Tomorrow, do your duty as an American and VOTE. If you live in Oregon (as I am lucky enough to do), you can vote by mail–but if you haven’t sent it in yet, DON’T MAIL IT–you MUST drop it off at any one of thousands of drop-boxes around the state. The easiest for most people would be to drop it at the counter of your local library. We cannot continue to live under the current, cynical Kleptocracy. We cannot allow our country to be driven fully into bankruptcy– financial, spiritual, and moral. We cannot continue to allow the handmaidens to the richest 1% to dictate global policy, literally rape and enslave the poor, ignore science, export our jobs, deny us even the most basic, affordable healthcare, and trample our Constitutional rights.
The Democratic party is truly our only hope in this election. As a Christian and Left-Wing Progressive, I want to reiterate that that the Democratic party is the ONLY major U.S. political group that not only accepts, but welcomes with open arms EVERYONE who wishes to improve the lives of every American. We as Democrats are people of many faiths and belief systems: Atheists, Agnostics, Rational Humanists, Christians, Baha’is, Muslims, Wiccans, Zoroastrians. We are married Straight people, we are Gay, we are Transgendered, we are Celibates, we are Americans.
We will not be silenced, and we will no longer allow a tiny and dangerously hateful minority to further tarnish the promise that is America.
