I agree Rachel should have protection- anyone who is oppressed should. However, not under the GL, and B, I guess, umbrella- unless she was also a lesbian or bisexual who happens to be TG. I support TG rights, but their agenda is NOT part of the Gay and Lesbian agenda. Most TG's are heterosexual. If the world won't accpt you because you still look like a man in drag, that is still no reason to jump on the gay bandwagon.

Yes -- we can have this in place in 2012 with focus. We have some 70% of Americans on our side as well -- let's keep it moving in state legislatures! See www.nationalpopularvote.com for what's happening in your state.

No doubt Sergeant Ramode was severely out of line. However, I’m puzzled as to why Corey Andrew Powell’s reference to “pedophilic predators” “begging” teenagers to join the military gets a complete pass. I see the implications about the sergeant as being what provoked the over-the-top exchange — not the all capitals second email sent by Ramode.

I’ve seen at least one post that suggests Sergeant Ramode is psychotic. Do recruiters have access to loaded weapons? If they do, I’m not sure Powell was being the sharpest tool in the shed if he set out to embarrass the recruiter by revealing their email exchange.

We can only hope that this is just a warm-up to bush, cheyney, rummy et al being charged with treason, too. A test run of the machinery, to make sure the auld beast is firing on all cylinders... Yup, Gadahn has the right to be Islamic-- and the right to be an 'Islamist' too if he so chooses-- just like I have the right to call myself a Liberal Christian. A fascinating part of the U.S. Code that Walter quotes--"Whoever, owing allegiance..." etc is the wording-- a big question becomes to whom does a given person give their primary allegiance? Obviously in Gadahn's case his primary alleigance is to his (I'd say perverted)interpretation of his faith. As far as I can tell, he hasn't ever renounced his U.S. citizenship, so our government has context under which to charge him with treason. He's appeared in videos with Zawahiri, the radical Islamist version of appearing on American Idol-- now that he's been charged with treason, it's like he's moved on to the semi-finals, and we've handed him bigger cred amongst his terrorist colleagues. Bush Corporation Meaningless Gesture Number 12,847...

Well done Mr. Olberman and peripheral props to the broadcaster for actually airing a deep, detailed, and passionate piece that is in league with the very best of broadcast journalism and opinion. We cannot allow the the GOP to further erode and pervert the Constitution or our mandate to be a shining beacon of hope and liberty to the world. This President is perhaps the only person on Earth who wouldn't ask his father-- who prosecuted a war in Iraq himself as President sometime in the past, remember(the GOP and MSM sure hope you don't)--won't even ASK his father for advice, observations, input of any kind. Seemingly won't even consider it. To further illuminate the psychological dysfunction of this, consider that Bill Clinton himself--apparently a Lying Arch Devil Fornicator in the view of some-- states unequivocally that if he were in W's shoes, he'd immediately seek HW's input. Hell, if Hugo Chavez were in W's situation, he'd ask for HW's input, too. The dam is gonna burst.

It appears that the author is seeing what s/he wants to see. I see two comrades getting along well with one another. What would the assumption be if Mr. Jackson were white and bald? So Mr. Bush shouldn't kid around with him in fear of being labeled a racist? Very sad...
