Wow, "Your average middle class male", responding from work on a Comcast Business IP address in Washington, DC. Threatening violence is only the first aspect of a disturbed mind. Get help. If two people are beaten at the same time, and one just happens to be gay, guess what? That's not a hate crime! That's two people being beaten up at the same time. But what about people chasing down a suspected gay man and beating him? You know, like this man, or this man, or this man, or this trans-man, or this woman, or this woman. You know what the irony is here? As an overweight person, YOU HAD SPECIAL RIGHTS! But those gays... No, they don't deserve anything. Yeah, right.

If you want to be gay that is your business but you do not deserve special treatment because you are a freak. I will not beat you because you are sick and diseased. But, I also will not give you special treatment by passing special laws for a very, very small part of our population. If a straight man and a gay are beat by the same group of men they should not receive a more severe punishment for beating the gay than the straight man!!! The beating of the gay should not be treated as a hate crime. It is wrong to beat any person regardless of race, religion or sexual orientation or any other reason for that matter. We currently have laws on the books to deal with such situations. We do not need Caesar doling out special treatment for each and every group that comes along.

For a large portion of my life I was picked on, harassed and even beat because I was overweight . . . no differnet than your being gay!!! I did not and would never consider asking the government on any level to give me special treatment and you have no right to do the same.

That is a great suggestion for real action. I notice that it, unlike AMERICAblog, doesn’t involve saying that someone who marries a 16-year-old must be a pedophile, or that there should be a religious test for who can work on what at the Department of Justice. I hope to see more people putting forward positive ideas for action instead of wreaking their justifiable sense of injustice done to them on every Mormon they encounter.

Why anyone voted for Obama after seeing his numerous lies, I will never know. I am a lesbian, gay woman, who voted for McCain. I had supported Hillary until Obama and the DNC did their little trick of taking away all of Hillary’s earned votes.

Wake up. Obama is a liar who only wants votes no matter how he gets them. Then he wants to turn your life around and leave you in a country that was once called America.

Dick Chaney would give better rights for gays than Obama. And I mean that seriously.

Do no trust Obama or the Dems with anything. They want your support and money but they have their own agenda and it is moving so fast no one can keep up.

Try communism. Look at what formerly communist countries are writing in their newspapers about obama.

Obama is so 1970’s communism/socialism while all of the other countries are moving into capitalism.

Read everything and analyze what Obama says and does and you will see that there is nothing good happening for anyone in this country that he promised to protect and defend.

In fact, all of the bad things that have happened were part of a plan he has been in for over a decade. Since you didn’t do your research before the election, please stop everything else, do it now, and then make your plans as to how you will help get this country out of the Obama chains that are being wrapped around us all right now.

I HATE Walmart…..it stands to reason that it would be a bigot running the place when every time I have shopped there it looks as if the customers are straight out of a farside cartoon!
