Dean Chairs the DNC

Monday, February 14th, 2005

Maybe some of the Washington Powerbrokers don’t like it, but Dean in the DNC Chair seat is making quite a few Democrats happy — and believe in their party again! And it’s making more than a few Republicans nervous. Dean’s already coming out swinging, discounting Bush’s Social Security plans and criticizing Bush’s budget as bloated. [...]

TRUE Republican Family Values

Monday, February 14th, 2005

Alan Keys’ daughter is an out, proud Lesbian. And for standing up and being herself, Keys and his wife threw their daughter out of their home, refuse to pay for her college or expenses, and have disowned her. Maya Keys supported her father, and even took time to work on his campaigns. Even when she [...]

Probably the best article that I’ve read that explains exactly what rules Republicans in the Senate have used during Democratic party rule, but the lapse of those same rules now that Republicans are in power . It gives you what Republicans have used in the past, when they’ve changed the rules, and why. Take a [...]

Pay to play

Wednesday, February 2nd, 2005

Two politicians who donated to the “Tom DeLay defense fund”, which paid for DeLay’s legal problems in his ethics hearings, have been rewarded with posts on the Ethics committee. Where do you think their loyalty lie? On the side of the people, or in the pocket of DeLay? DeLay’s guaranteeing that he won’t see any [...]

One good piece of news out of a Republican

Tuesday, February 1st, 2005

Well, looks like Bill Frist won’t be running for re-election in 2006, making a race for his replacement in the Senate. What brain-dead person with the Republicans put up to replace him?
